Love,
I know this all sounds quite sappy and romantic, but that's me! And I would love to be the wedding photographer you choose to document the day you celebrate your love story. Feel free to look around my site and I hope to hear from you soon!
Something else I remember about growing up was seeing a camera in my face all the time. My dad insisted that pictures of soccer games and dance recitals and the art work I brought home from kindergarten was all imperative to remembering my childhood later on. And he was right, of course. Seeing the look on my face when I opened the art box Santa brought me one year for Christmas brings back the exact feeling of complete surprise and joy I felt that day. Memories are an investment. For my dad, it was an investment of both time and money, but we all agree that it was worth it a million times over because we can remember more fully what growing up was like. Pictures, for me, are memories.
I've been dreaming about my wedding day since I was 2 years old. You think I'm joking? At preschool, I was the kid who lived in the wedding gown some mother had donated for the dress-up box.
So when you're researching photographers for your wedding day, remember that your memories are an investment. Find a photographer who wants to invest the time and effort into getting to know your story, what makes you tick, and most importantly...what takes your breath away. Because those are the things that make memories out of pictures. It's not about what your wedding party looked like as much as it is about the story of the day you married the love of your life.
